Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Special Education Lead to join our team. In this role you will provide essential leadership and support to a team of special educators ensuring highquality instruction for students with disabilities in both inclusion and selfcontained settings. You will coach mentor and collaborate with teachers to enhance student learning and achievement while ensuring IEP compliance and effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coaching & Mentoring: Provide ongoing coaching and support to special education teachers focusing on instructional strategies classroom management and student engagement.
- Professional Development: Lead and facilitate professional development workshops tailored to the needs of special education teachers to promote continuous growth and improvement.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with teachers to create and refine curriculum materials that align with state standards IEP goals and best practices for students with disabilities.
- Data Analysis: Analyze student data to identify trends assess performance and drive instructional decisions ensuring alignment with IEP goals and student achievement.
- Collaborative Planning: Work closely with general education teachers administrators and support staff in planning and delivering cohesive studentcentered learning experiences.
- Inclusion Support: Support teachers in inclusive classrooms promoting equity diversity and inclusion while ensuring that all students receive appropriate accommodations and support.
- IEP Compliance: Ensure that all students Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) are properly implemented and in compliance with legal and district requirements monitoring progress and coordinating services.
- Parent & Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and community members fostering open communication and partnership in supporting student success.

Salary:
This is a VRS qualified stipend paid at a Tier 7 level in the amount of $6625 annually
