QinetiQ US is looking to hire an experienced Facility Manager to support the expansion of our customers secure facility at Fort Belvoir VA.

In this role your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage Furniture and Office Space Work Requests
• Manage Exterior and Grounds work request
• Manage Facilities
• Serve as chief liaison for staff with DPW and 300 area facilities management
• Ensure support agreements are current and reflect the organizations requirements
• Manage and execute facility support agreements to ensure organizations requirements are fulfilled.
• Generate facilities work request through Base Services (Aluet).
• Perform HVAC plumbing electrical trouble shooting
• Provides technical evaluation services to the occupants of Building 367 as needed and requested.
• Monitor maintain and initiate corrective action and preventive maintenance related to Environmental Controls
• When appropriate solicit proposals to resolve adverse environments
• Ensure quantity and quality of supply and make up air is appropriate
• Lighting
• Where applicable conduct vibration analysis and mitigation
• Manage Process Chilled Water
• Monitor & Record power quality identify related issues implement corrective actions
• Monitor and maintain motors which support Life Safety Systems and mission critical components
• Provide onsite preventive maintenance on mechanical units
• Installation and removal of instruments and equipment
• Ensure work is accomplished IAW ASME NFPA ASTM IBC and State of Virginia Building and Mechanical codes following the guides and specifications listed in the Whole Building Design Guide
• Represent the end users requirements during any assessment of building 367 to ensure that achieving minimum code requirements isnt deemed success.
• Provides engineering and technical advice related to operations and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 10 years experience in facility management
• Prior experience with managing large facility footprints.
• Tracking and managing construction projects
• Experience with basic maintenance troubleshooting and repair of HVAC plumbing and electrical systems
• Ability to evaluate contractor designs and support schedule/risk related issues
• Knowledge of State of Virginia Building and Mechanical codes.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced dynamic and energetic environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
