Provides clerical and receptionist duties in a nursing unit. Responsible for knowing the philosophy objectives and policies of the Medical Center. Contributes to the development and maintenance of a communication system that promotes positive intra and interdepartmental working relationships.Job Description:
EDUCATION
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- HS Diploma
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
- BLSBasic Life Support Healthcare Provider preferred
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
- Recent experience or education as a Ward Clerk in health care environment or equivalent.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Basic computer skills required.
- Knowledge of English language w/strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize problem solve and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills in a diverse population.
- Training skills required.
- Basic keyboarding and computer skills
- Must be able to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environment and take appropriate actions in emergent situations.

Pay Range is $28.28 to $37.83 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
