What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):
- Masters Degree in a mental health field
- MHSII One 1 year of experience in a mental health field OR completion of social work marriage family therapy or professional clinical counselor practicum program within an SBHG agency. Experience should be with children or adolescents in residential or outpatient settings preferred.
- License or Certification
- MHSII AMFT/APCC/ASW BBS registration
- Valid California Drivers License.
How you will make a difference (job overview):
This position has primary responsibility for providing mental health services and case management services to children or adolescents and their families referred to Community Services. Services may include engagement assessment evaluation individual/family/group therapy and case management. The position acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. In addition the position documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information.
Division/Program Overview:
- Communitybased program
- Flexible Integrated Treatment (FIT) provides services and support to children and youth ages 021
- Individual Family and Group Therapy rehabilitation services and skill building crisis intervention Child Family Team meetings medication support and linkage to community resources
- Walkins welcome (Tue 8:30 am 12:30 pm and Thu 1:305:30 pm)
- After Hours OnCall
