The Department of Pediatrics at East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine is seeking a fulltime Neonatologist to join this division at the rank of Assistant Associate or Professor and the rank will be commensurate with academic experience. This is a nontenure track position. The position is a joint hire with Medical Education Assistance Corporation (MEAC).Responsibilities of the Neonatologist include providing clinical care for a 39bed level III NICU with inhouse nurse practitioners outpatient highrisk neonatal followup the teaching of medical students and pediatric residents quality improvement and academic pursuits. We have over 800 NICU admissions per year at Niswonger Childrens Hospital with air and ground transport systems available. An active perinatology division for maternal evaluation and management is also present through the Department of Obstetrics and review of applicants will continue until this position is filled.
