Job Description
The Lighting & Sound Director plays a key role in the success of high school theater productions by managing all aspects of lighting and sound design. This stipend position includes planning setting up and operating lighting and audio equipment for plays and musicals. The director works closely with the production team to enhance the overall experience through effective technical design and . Responsibilities include maintaining equipment ensuring safety attending key rehearsals and all performances and mentoring student tech crew members as needed. This director will also need to operate a lift to help with hanging of instruments putting up and taking down draperies and more.
