Job Description
What Youll Do
- Operational Oversight: Supervise inbound outbound and claims processing ensuring accuracy and timely .
- Team Leadership & Training: Directly supervise and mentor GSR 6 crew members fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Workforce Management: Schedule workforce manage overtime and vacation requests and ensure proper crew coverage.
- Labor & Compliance: Maintain positive UAW relationships resolve grievances and ensure compliance with FordUAW contracts and ISO 14001 environmental standards.
- Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on efficiency inventory accuracy error reduction and customer satisfaction.
- Facility & Safety: Uphold building organization cleanliness and safety standards while driving adherence to company processes.
Responsibilities
Schedule Requirements
- Operational hours: 11:00 AM 9:30 PM
- Flexibility required: Must be available to work outside traditional hours including weekends as needed.
- Overtime: Must be willing to work overtime or adjust schedule based on business needs.
- Shift coverage: Willingness to work all shifts as required.
Youll have...
- Highschool Diploma
- Ability to walk and navigate a large facility 600000 sq. ft. for extended periods as required to oversee operations.
- Must have ability and experience to work in a fastpaced environment and work under pressure to meet and/or exceed dealer shipping deadlines
- Knowledge or ability to learn current systems (SAP/EWM)
- Proven dependability record and successful teamoriented experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret data evaluate actions and reach logical conclusions independently
- Goal oriented individual
- Continuous Improvement mindset
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to demand accountability from all employees
Even better you may have - Bachelors Degree
- 23 years operational experience within a High Velocity Center Or High Cube Center.
- Previous UAW/HVC supervisory experience.
