As an Assistant Program Director youll be at the forefront of shaping the future careers of our Specialized Masters students. Youll work both individually and in affinity groups to support their growth along a career development path offering guidance in areas such as selfawareness career awareness interest fit and skills. Your role will also involve reviewing assessing and providing constructive feedback on their progress and actions in each career development area ensuring they are wellprepared to achieve their professional goals. What you need to know

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hires experience

Schedule: This position requires work outside of standard business hours to include nights and/or weekends. This position may require occasional travel (less than 10.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Higher Education Business Human Resource Management Finance Real Estate Economics or equivalent combination or education and experience

  • Six years of closely related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Real Estate and Finance students in higher education

  • 4 or more years of program coordination experience

  • Professional experience in Real Estate Finance or related industries

  • Professional experience in career services or providing academic support for career path planning

  • Some leadership experience

  • Professional experience guiding students career development and career decisionmaking

  • Professional experience as a recruiter with talent acquisition emphasis

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office facets

  • Strong problemsolving skills

  • Excellent written analytical interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Familiarity with financial certifications such as CFA CFP or real estate licensing requirements

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to use Generative AI tools securely in supporting students and enhancing everyday tasks

  • Ability to work independently once given a project

  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing programs and services

  • Career Advising / Coaching / Mentoring

  • Knowledge of various business disciplines with particular emphasis on Real Estate and Financial Management

Responsibilities

Career Coaching/Advising:

  • Individually and in affinity groups work with Specialized Masters students to support their growth along a career development path

  • Advise and guide in areas including selfawareness career awareness interest fit and skills

  • Review assess and provide students with constructive feedback on progress and actions in each career development area

  • Work with students to guide critique and revise multiple forms of written & verbal communication

  • Coach/advise students in resume/cover letter/LinkedIn profile development interview preparation networking skills professional presence elevator pitch personal brand development and how to translate technical skills into business competencies

Education/Training:

  • Delivers stateoftheart career education and readiness programs for Specialized Masters students

  • Sets new standards in career education and preparation

  • Provides students with lifelong career management skills tailored to their specific program focus emphasizing the transition to a businessoriented career pat

Career Program Operations:

  • Coordinate continuous improvement of the career programing

  • Carry out and oversee ongoing and recurring career program operation activities to include compiling and distributing resume books administering relevant employment websites career data management preparing employer materials and other operational and administrative tasks as assigned

  • Collaborate with employers to develop opportunities suited for Specialized Masters students across business disciplines
