JOB DESCRIPTION
St. Anthonys Elementary School a faithbased Catholic educational community seeks a compassionate and skilled Learning Resource Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate must be certified in OrtonGillingham literacy instruction and trained in multisensory math strategies with a deep commitment to nurturing every childs academic and spiritual development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and smallgroup instruction in reading writing and mathematics using multisensory evidencebased methods (e.g. OrtonGillingham and structured math programs).
Assess students academic needs and learning profiles through informal and formal assessments.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans to support student learning.
Maintain regular communication with parents teachers and administrators about student progress and strategies.
Promote an inclusive and supportive environment rooted in Catholic values.
Attend IEP meetings and assist with documentation as needed.
Be an excellent communicator able to use a variety of conflict management strategies.
