Job Description
Software Requirements
- Proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies.
- Experience with developing and maintaining Javabased applications and systems.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud computing platforms.
- Proficient in using development tools version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g. HTML CSS JavaScript Angular/React) is a plus.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Java developers and ensure the highquality delivery of software.
- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient Javabased applications and systems.
- Design and implement solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve technical issues and drive innovation.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Categorywise Technical Skills:
Backend:
- Java Spring Framework (Spring Boot Spring MVC) Hibernate/JPA.
- Microservices architecture RESTful API design.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB.
Frontend:
- Basic understanding of HTML CSS JavaScript.
- Experience with frontend frameworks like Angular or React (nice to have).
DevOps:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes).
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI/CD etc..
Testing:
- Unit integration and system testing.
- Test automation frameworks (JUnit Mockito).
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Java development.
- Proven experience in leading a team of Java developers.
- Previous experience in delivering Javabased solutions for large enterprises.
DaytoDay Activities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers providing guidance and support as needed.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop test and deploy Javabased applications and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive innovation and implement new technologies.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Advanced certifications in Java development (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 11 Developer) are highly desirable.
