We have an exciting opportunity at Mears for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our busy friendly finance team following recent contract expansion.

This is an entrylevel learningfocused positionperfect for someone who is keen to develop their career in finance. Well support you every step of the way as you work towards becoming a qualified accountant.

About the Role:

Were looking for an enthusiastic datasavvy individual with a hunger to learn and grow in a fastpaced environment.

You will:

  • Support the Senior Management Accountant with large and varied data sets
  • Review and consolidate data from crossfunctional teams
  • Present data in clear actionable formats such as P&L statements dashboards reports visual summaries and executive presentations
  • Work closely with our branches to produce monthly management accounts and analyse results to support performance and profitability
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet control accounts with precision

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers has strong Excel skills and thrives on turning data into insights.

Role Criteria:

  • A passion for finance and a desire to qualify as an accountant (AAT/ACCA/CIMA support provided)
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Solid Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • A proactive positive attitude and a willingness to learn
