Job description
Job title Trainee Engineer
Department: Engineering
Reports to: Team Lead Engineering
General Purpose
Providing technical support for Product Development Engineering CAD Engineering and Options Engineering teams. Works under direct supervision on small to medium projects
Essential Functions
Applies basic engineering skills to work assignments
Ability to take good notes showing work and assumptions
Create accurate technical specification drawings and models to assist Engineering under direct supervision
Participates within the project and work team environments.
Communicates frequently with Engineers and Managers on assigned project teams.
Sets an example for others in the attitude exhibited and the high standard in the quantity and quality of the work completed.
Works to improve ones technical and organizational skills through continuing educational training and learning opportunities.
Performs additional responsibilities as requested. Minimum Requirements
4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7 CGPA
Knowledge of any 3D CAD tool
Excellent written and spoken English language skills with clarity of thought in articulation.
Passion to develop product development solutions
Analytical thought process and willingness to discuss and debate on matters where they may have a difference of opinion.
Willing to learn new technologies and apply those on the job
Willingness to work in the different shifts
Ability to work individually or within a team environment.
Ability to participate in multiple projects & tasks and priorities in a healthy work environment.
Has attention to detail and a penchant for quality.
Very good understanding of design
Ability to take direction constructive feedback and work to specified deadlines.
Adhere to process and procedures defined for the role the team and the organization.
Must maintain a positive attitude when addressing concerns.
Must be respectful tactful truthful and professional in all working relationships while representing HMI and its interests.
Must be willing to take ownership and work efficiently to drive tasks to completion.
Additional Requirements
Any internship experience in manufacturing industry will be an advantage
