Capture system requirements flowdown to components definition identifying relevant validation needs
Issue technical documents relative to the components design according to engineering policies and procedures (drawings presentations as well as analysis reports)
Proactively support and coordinate activities with manufacturing departments and Suppliers to implement parts procurement (eg. concurrent design)
Contribute and participate as a presenter in technical and program reviews
Support activities related to components performance and investigations (eg. Troubleshooting activities laboratories investigation)
Efficient communicate with the team to improve collaboration and eliminate waste.
Share information and promote open dialogue
Use Unigraphics NX CAD tool
Qualifications/Requirements
Masters Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university
Previous experience in product design & development within an engineering product development environment
Fundamental understanding of mechanical design (static strength of materials dynamics etc.
Knowledge of engineering design practices and product line engineering to optimize team performance
Strong oral and written communication skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills. Team working and inclusiveness proven capabilities
Fluent English and Italian both written and oral
Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required
Desired Characteristics
Knowledge of aeronautical power gearbox and/or turbines technical requirements design solutions technologies
Previous experience in technical project leadership or technical mentorship within an engineering product development environment
Knowledge in cost and value engineering
Experience on structure stress analysis. Use of CAE tools (e.g. Nastran Ansys) is a plus
Capable to work in multicultural environment preferable previous international experience
Curiosity and passion for mechanical design
