Job Description
Looking for a dynamic fastpaced volunteer roleCome and be part of our buzzingRetail Hubin Bramley home to ourWarehouse eCommerce Team and Bramley shop(conveniently located near bus routes14 and 91.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who have an interest in books and media (CDs DVDs VHS cassette tapes etc). You will use your IT skills to scan donated books into an online platform and research antique / high value items.Please Note this role will require some heavy lifting.
What Youll Get Involved With:
- Greeting donors and bringing stock into the warehouse.
- Sorting incoming donations of books DVDs CDs VHS cassettes etc.
- Scanning incoming stock (books and DVDs) using an online platform to generate income.
- Processing stock to go out to shops.
- Sending items to external organisations for recycling.
Volunteering in our charity shops and retail teams helps providevital funds to support patients their family and friends. Our retail teams are friendly and supportive and full training can be given for each role.

St Gemmas Hospice is an independent Leedsbased charity and one of the leading hospices in the UK providing expert care and support for local people with lifelimiting and terminal illnesses. We offer care to patients families and carers in the Hospices InPatient Unit through the St Gemmas community team and at our OutPatients.
We have around 300 employees working across the main Hospice site in Moortown Retail Hub in Bramley a large chain of charity shops and out in the community.
