Description
Job title: Talent & People Intern
Compensation: $18$22 per hour
Location: Omaha NE Hybrid
The job:
As a Talent & People Intern at Buildertrend youll play a key role in building the teams that bring our mission to lifehelping people lead better lives through better work. Youll support every step of the hiring and onboarding journey making sure new team members feel equipped informed and ready to make an impact. From career fairs to candidate communications your work will shape how talent experiences Buildertrend from the very first interaction. Behind the scenes youll help us grow a workplace where people thriveso they can do their best work and live their best lives.
What you will do:
Assist and support the fullcycle recruitment process including requisition creation candidate screening offer extension preboarding and onboarding.
Communicate with candidates and provide timely updates to ensure a positive experience.
Support sourcing efforts by identifying potential candidates.
Contribute to special projects for the team on an asneeded basis.
Partner with team members to refine onboarding workflows and documentation.
Attend career fairs or virtual hiring events.
Support general People team initiatives including internal events or engagement programs.
Who you are and what you need:
Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program in human resources business administration communications psychology or related field.
Interest in recruiting human resources or organizational development.
Ability to work fulltime (approximately 40 hours per week) during the summer and parttime 1020 hours per week) during the school year
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office; familiarity with an ATS is a plus.
Eagerness to learn collaborate and adapt in a dynamic environment.
