Warehouse Floater in charge of movement of material from Stores to the production floor.Nationality Requirements
Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.
Job Description
Working under minimal supervision the Warehouse Floater performs all job duties of Material Handler and the following duties:
Receiving shipping function maintaining ERP system
Receives unpacks and checks incoming materials and associated documentation.
Unloads carriers.
Maintains files/processes documentation.
Operates duplicating equipment/automated record keeping equipment including computers (ERP system).
Operates forklift trucks and other equipment.
Checks and issues materials identified sorts and stores materials transports materials furnishes stock level info determines/carried out methods of storage identification and stock location.
Receives counts checks units to be shipped checking associated documentation.
Packs articles and secures containers with labels/shipping info.
Skills & Capabilities
Grade 12 or equivalent experience and capability
Successful completed Forklift Operation Training.
Broad knowledge of inventory control and material handling techniques.
Good computer skills
Competent reading and writing skills
