Job Title: Compliance Manager
Location: Belfast (Hybrid)
Salary: Excellent package negotiable based on experience

Description:
We are hiring for our client a globally recognised firm within the financial services sector seeking a highly experienced Compliance Manager to join their Belfast team. Operating in a collaborative and fastpaced environment this role offers excellent exposure to global compliance functions and regulatory operations with a particular focus on highquality client onboarding and due diligence.

This is an ideal opportunity for a senior compliance professional with experience in managing regulatory requirements particularly within international jurisdictions such as the Cayman Islands.

The Role

  • Lead daytoday management of all compliance matters related to new business acceptance
  • Ensure all CDD/KYC documentation is obtained completed and riskassessed
  • Maintain the Viewpoint database with accurate uptodate client risk and due diligence data
  • Review and update AML policies in line with Cayman regulations and wider industry guidance
  • Manage AML training for new and existing staff and ensure training records are maintained
  • Conduct PEP data scrubbing annual reviews and ensure timely remediation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders ensuring accurate and concise communication
  • Maintain high standards of compliance oversight while working toward chargeable time targets
  • Ensure proactive escalation of risks and issues to senior management

The Person

  • Degreequalified in compliance law or a related field
  • At least 8 years experience in a senior regulatory or compliance role
  • Holds (or working towards) a professional compliance qualification (e.g. ICA CAMS)
  • Strong understanding of AML sanctions and regulatory requirements especially for Cayman and offshore jurisdictions
  • Knowledge of corporate fund and trust structures preferred
  • Exceptional communication organisation and problemsolving skills
  • Advanced IT skills proficient in MS Office; Viewpoint experience desirable
