The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location work experience education licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:
$39300.00 $58900.00Purpose Statement: The Quality Technician I provides effective functional support of assigned Quality and Supplier Quality processes goods and services to meet functional department and customers requirements.
Work Shift: This position will support our C shift which is every Thursday Friday Saturday and every other Wednesday from 6am to 6pm.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Support NonConforming Material.
- Report basic feedback to Focus Factory and Customer Focused Team with issues during the shift in order to help continuous improvement activities.
- Understands and follows Plexus quality policy guidelines customer specifications and adheres to regulatory compliance. Monitors own work to ensure quality standard is met as well as look for opportunities to improve quality and eliminate waste at work. Keeps supervisors informed and escalates issues when needed.
- Lead in development and providing direction of Quality Inspectors.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience.
- A combination of education experience and time in field will be taken into consideration and internal candidates may have distinct requirements tailored to their demonstrated skills and contributions within the organization.

Physical Requirements:
- Role will work in an electromechanical manufacturing environment with required personal protective equipment. Facilities include comfortable temperatures repetitive low noise level and suitable lighting for required tasks. May require physical stamina with strong manual dexterity and fine motor control with precise measurement equipment or delicate tools and components requiring a steady touch. Visual inspection may require acute near vision and the ability to work continually using magnifiers cameras and other vision systems. Role will spend a majority of the time standing and sitting with limited activities including lifting packages moving material and working around lifting and material movement equipment as needed. Role may include repetitive computer tasks in different types of software creating editing and saving quality records.
