About us
Our rapidly expanding stateoftheart Veterinary Hospital located in Livingston between Edinburgh and Glasgow is looking for an experienced RVN to join Veterinary Specialist Scotland.
Veterinary Specialists Scotland (VSS) is a multidisciplinary referral hospital that opened in October 2020. The clinic premises have been purpose built to deliver the highest standards of veterinary care while also providing a beautiful and pleasant working environment.
The teams core values are excellence in patient client colleague and referring vet care and we place a strong emphasis on team and collaborative working. We are looking for Veterinary Nurses who share our ethos to help make VSS a supportive stimulating and enjoyable place to practise veterinary medicine and surgery to the highest standard.
Your role and responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity to join our nursing team as a multidisciplinary nurse. This candidate will experience a varied and challenging caseload as they work within all areas of the hospital. Our nurses provide a high standard of care for our hospitalised patients and assist the vets with the diagnosis and treatment of complex interesting conditions.
Working within our dynamic clinical team the successful candidates will ideally have a good background in referral work however this is not essential.

This is a fixed term Part time position working a 30r/week including a share of weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
