The Antibody Scientist for QC is responsible for performing Antibody Quality Control.
This position reports to the Antibody Production Manager and is part of the Production Operations Department located in Waltham Massachusetts and will be full time onsite position. At Abcam our vision is to be the most influential life sciences company for researchers worldwide.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Follow SOPs to perform antibody validation in various applications tests or using biophysical QC methods such as western blot ICC IHC flow.
- Operate various equipment including HPLC and LCMS with data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Operate through ERP system.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor degree Masters degree or PhD degree with several years of experience in antibody OR protein development/manufacturing
- Degree in biochemistry molecular biology biotechnology or a related field
- Hands on experience with HPLC and LCMS
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to lift move or carry containers up to 20 lbs and sit/stand/walk for approximately 80 of the day.
