Job Description
Paris High School is committed to academic excellence and preparing students for success beyond the classroom. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team and lead efforts in career readiness and workforce development.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about empowering students with leadership skills resume writing job preparedness and professional communication. This role will also involve coordinating cooperative education (coop) job placements for students throughout the school year and fostering partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
Applicants should be prepared to create an engaging supportive learning environment that reflects the CORE values of the Jobs for Americas Graduates (JAG) program.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Teach leadership development employability skills and career readiness topics.
Coordinate and manage student coop job placements.
Complete and maintain accurate data entry in JAG Force (online data collection platform).
Ensure timely completion and submission of all required JAG documentation and forms.
Collaborate with classroom teachers principals and guidance counselors to address student needs.
Organize and oversee student participation in communitybased projects.
Establish and maintain strong communication with community stakeholders to support student opportunities and strengthen schoolcommunity relationships.
