Job Summary:
The OvertheRoad (OTR) Parts Advisor is responsible for sourcing selling and delivering truck and trailer parts to customers ensuring they receive timely and accurate parts to keep their vehicles operational. This role requires strong customer service inventory management skills and knowledge of heavyduty truck and trailer components. The ideal candidate is selfmotivated organized and capable of building strong relationships with customers and vendors.


Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Assist overtheroad drivers fleet managers and service teams in identifying and sourcing the correct truck and trailer parts.
  • Process orders ensuring accuracy timely delivery and proper documentation.
  • Maintain inventory levels by tracking stock placing orders and restocking parts as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers vendors and suppliers.
  • Provide pricing estimates product availability and recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Manage returns warranties and core exchanges in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate logistics for part deliveries ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
  • Keep accurate records of sales inventory and transactions using parts management software.
  • Stay updated on industry trends new products and manufacturer specifications.
  • Adhere to company safety and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or technical degree preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in a parts advisory or related role preferably in the trucking or heavyduty industry.
  • Strong knowledge of truck and trailer parts components and systems.
  • Proficiency in parts management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent customer service communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport heavy parts as needed.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
