Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: FullTime Permanent
Location: Nottinghamshire Key Stages: KS3 KS4 and KS5

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our esteemed independent school in Nottinghamshire. We are seeking an experienced Biology Teacher who can inspire students at all levels including Key Stages 3 4 and 5 and contribute to the academic excellence for which our school is renowned.
As a Biology Teacher you will have the chance to work with highly motivated students and be part of a collaborative and dynamic science department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Biology excellent teaching skills and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students of all abilities.
The Role Biology Teacher
As a Biology Teacher you will be responsible for delivering highquality lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5. You will have the opportunity to teach ALevel Biology with a focus on preparing students for university and beyond. The role will involve working closely with fellow Biology Teachers to develop the curriculum share best practices and support students academic and personal growth.

The Ideal Candidate Biology Teacher
We are looking for a Biology Teacher who:
Holds QTS and has significant experience teaching Biology at KS3 KS4 and KS5 with ALevel teaching experience
Has a degree in Biology or a related science subject
Has a passion for teaching Biology and inspiring students of all abilities
Can deliver engaging highquality lessons and consistently achieve excellent results
Works well in a collaborative team of Biology Teachers sharing ideas and best practices
Has a proactive approach to professional development and is eager to contribute to the wider school community
Will be committed to preparing students for top universities and a future in the sciences
