Biology Teacher Exciting Opportunity at State School in Leicestershire
Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: FullTime Permanent
Location: Leicestershire Key Stages: KS3 KS4 and KS5 (depending on experience)
Suitable for: ECTs and Experienced Teachers
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive state school in Leicestershire. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher or an experienced Biology Teacher this role offers the chance to inspire students at Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with the possibility to teach KS5 Biology depending on your experience.
This is an exciting role for a Biology Teacher who is eager to make a positive impact in a school that values academic excellence professional development and student wellbeing.
The Role Biology Teacher
As a Biology Teacher you will teach Biology across Key Stages 3 and 4 and if you have the experience the opportunity to teach KS5 Biology. You will work collaboratively with a team of passionate science teachers to create engaging and innovative lessons that challenge and inspire students fostering a love for the subject.
The role will include planning and delivering highquality lessons assessing student progress and contributing to the broader school community through extracurricular activities and professional development.

The Ideal Candidate Biology Teacher
We are looking for a Biology Teacher who:
Holds QTS and a relevant degree in Biology or a related subject
Has experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching experience is desirable but not essential)
Has a passion for teaching Biology and inspiring students
Is committed to high academic standards and student progress
Works effectively as part of a collaborative team of Biology Teachers
Demonstrates strong communication skills and a proactive approach to professional development
Is eager to contribute to extracurricular activities and engage with the wider school community
