Job Description

Our client an Outstanding Secondary School in Berkshire is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sociology Teacher to join their team from September. This is a fulltime permanent position suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The successful candidate will be a subject specialist with the ability to teach Sociology at GCSE and ALevel. You must bring excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching that engages and inspires students.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant subject
  • A PGCE or QTS
  • Experience teaching Sociology in a secondary school (including through a PGCE placement)

Salary:

The role will be paid to Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) depending on experience.
