Job Description

A forwardthinking school in Kensington is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physics Teacher to join their supportive and wellresourced Science department. This is an excellent opportunity for a Physics Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 and potentially ALevel Physics inspiring a love for the fundamental laws of the universe. Location: KensingtonRole: Physics Teacher (FullTime Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across Key Stages 34 (and potentially KS5.
  • Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for fundamental physical concepts within Physics.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department to share best practice and enhance the Physics curriculum.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Physics.
  • Potentially contribute to extracurricular Physics clubs or sciencerelated projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physics.
  • Degree in Physics or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Physics at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply) with ALevel experience being advantageous.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject of Physics.
  • Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to make complex ideas in Physics understandable.
  • A commitment to fostering scientific inquiry and a love of Physics.
