Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teacher for a wonderful 2form entry school in Waltham Forest starting in September 2025. This is a fulltime permanent position. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.

KS1 Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver dynamic and engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to enjoy learning.
- Assess and track student progress providing regular feedback and setting clear targets for development.
- Foster the development of critical thinking skills independence and creativity.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver a cohesive and effective curriculum.
- Build strong relationships with parents keeping them informed of their childs progress and wellbeing.
- Participate in staff meetings professional development opportunities and school activities as required.
KS1 Teacher Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (preferably Year 2.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.
- Passion for creating an engaging inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible teamoriented approach to teaching.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining high standards of teaching.
