Job Description
RN Intermediate Care Contract Position
Location: Utica New York 13502
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Open to Local & Travel Candidates
Position Highlights:
- Shift: 12hr Nights 6:30p7:00a
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2160 $2340
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patientcentered nursing care to adult patients in IMCU
- Monitor and assess patients with acute medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments based on physician orders
- Utilize and manage specialty equipment such as Alines BiPAP chest tubes and temporary pacers
- Provide ventilator care in collaboration with respiratory therapy
- Document assessments interventions and patient progress accurately in EPIC
- Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2 years of IMCU/PCU and documents travel experience. EMR Exp Required: EPIC
- Certifications: Current AHA BLS ACLS NIHSS required
- License: ACTIVE NY RN license and all other RN licenses
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 75mile radius qualify for travel pay.
