Job Description
Reporting to the Global Payroll Manager you will be responsible for payroll across Canada and Cayman and backup responsibilities for EMEA and/or APAC payroll processing. This role will also have the opportunity to assist other teams within the Finance Department and Human Resources Departments at MUFG.

- Ensure fullcycle payroll processing for Canada on a semimonthly basis following Government Legislation and Company Policy
- Ensure fullcycle payroll processing for Cayman on a monthly basis following Government Legislation and Company Policy
- Prepare and reconcile month end journal entries
- Prepare and remit Payroll taxes and other relevant remittances
- Ensure that all government remittances and other payments are processed
- Process multiple retirement plan contributions and complete yearly filing requirements
- Provide outstanding customer service to all employees and partners
Qualifications :
- Relevant College Diploma or Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Have or be working towards a Payroll designation
- Minimum of 2 years payroll experience
- Knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
