We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary Lecturer to join our Supported Learning team at our Huntingdon Campus. You will join us on a part time basis 14 hours per week) and in return you will receive 27 per hour.

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Learning Lecturer to teach and lead our life skills and employability skills programme at our Huntingdon Campus.
The role is to lead on the teaching learning and assessment of our students with severe moderate and specific learning needs delivering lessons in small group settings. All students follow a core timetable with some personalised elements.
The successful candidate will lead on one or two programmes and whilst being responsible for overseeing the work of instructors delivering their programmes to ensure that each student has the best chance of inclusive learning and makes progress against their EHCP targets.
Based at the Huntingdon you will be part of a supportive welcoming team of professionals.
You will need to be a qualified teacher or FE lecturer with experience in teaching students with SEN needs such as SLD ASD MLD and SEMH barriers. We are looking for a creative selfstarters who enjoy designing practical projects to help students explore their skills through practical themes.
You will be an excellent communicator who can work collaboratively with staff members and have clear vision and expectation for high quality teaching learning assessment and mentoring.
Ideally you will have experience of delivering and assessing accredited qualifications and nonaccredited programmes (RARPA).
We are particularly interested in staff who can offer specialisms in the creative industries drama media and English. Preference will be given to applicants that are familiar with using Apple Mac computers and the suite of programmes that support media and music making such as Photoshop and ProLogic and that are confident in teaching English from Entry 3 to GCSE.
Qualifications: PGCE or DTLLS DET plus Level 2 in English and maths. Skills in Makaton and qualifications in ASD are desirable.
