Job Description
The ideal candidate for a Value Stream Supervisor Forming would be able to do the following:
- Living and coaching by ASMS beliefs.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points equipment and resources and maintains compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Selects onboards and evaluates direct reports.
- Manages of direct report training plans.
- Monitors the of inprocess quality checks quality gates and defect resolution.
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel establishing priorities monitoring progress revising schedules resolving problems and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Ensures direct reports effectively utilize the help chain.
- Drives continuous improvement activities through effective problem solving techniques.
- Enforces team adherence to standard work policies and procedures; delivers performance management when appropriate.
- Maintains working relationship with Union representatives.
- Follows the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
- Manages employee schedules and timecards.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
For a candidate to be successful as a Value Stream Supervisor Forming they must have:
- Servant leadership mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to crossfunctionally solve problems.
- Effective verbal and written communication
- 23 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficient computer skills; MS Office; ERP experience preferred.
- Experience in metal fabrication or onepiece flow assembly environment preferred.
