Job Description
TTPs Life Science team is on a mission to improve healthcare. We work at the intersection of biology physical science and engineering partnering with ambitious clients to invent design and manufacture impactful products and technologies. Our projects span areas such as advanced therapies diagnostics highthroughput drug discovery molecular detection DNA sequencing and cancer screening.
As part of our commitment to growth in the AsiaPacific (APAC) region were seeking a talented technical consultant who will join our Diagnostics team to shape groundbreaking products and technologies and make an impact in this dynamic market. Youll build strong customer relationships with external partners in Japan as well as contribute to handson technical product development.
Youll build bridges with both clients and prospective clients understanding their needs and working with the rest of the team at TTP to tailor solutions to the unique requirements of the market. Your insight into Japanese business culture coupled with your fluency in both Japanese and English will be key to fostering strong relationships and drive technical collaboration. Youll lean into your ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to colleagues and clients from diverse fields of expertise.
Youll be part of a strong multidisciplinary team of scientists engineers and designers who collaborate to realise the most ambitious technical challenges in medical diagnostics. Youll have the opportunity to work on multiple projects at any one time can expect to advance and expand your understanding of entirely new fields of science and technology and develop your project leadership skills.
Qualifications :
- A strong academic background in a scientific or engineering discipline e.g. Mechanical Engineering Biochemistry Physics
- Fluent in Japanese and English and cultural awareness of Japanese working practices; experience working with Japanese clients or within a Japanese business context is highly desirable
- Experience in a Life Science/biotechnology/medical technology environment
- Demonstrative product development experience
- Experience of managing or building strong customer relationships
- Experience working collaboratively with interdisciplinary technical colleagues
- Willingness to travel internationally
