Job Description
South Country Health Alliance has an opening based out of its headquarters in Medford MN as a Business Intelligence Developer. Oversee design development and maintenance of business intelligence solutions. Develop an understanding of data sets and provide design solutions with appropriate levels of complexity. Recommend ways to improve data reliability efficiency and quality in support of department quality and efficiency objectives. Develop tools to effectively analyze data extract insights and drive informed decisionmaking within South Country. Identify analyze and report data trends across data sets and work with senior leadership to prioritize information needs. Lead development of client dashboards that reference and encompass all aspects of data. Create data visualizations and reports to ensure the success of internal and external projects. Disseminate information regarding tools reports or metadata enhancements. Analyze information using various statistical methods the results of which are needed by various users both internal and external to South Country thereby supporting the quality and compliance objectives of the agency. $138611/year plus standard employee benefits including health vision dental life insurance and retirement benefits. Full Requirements: Masters Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Business Analytics Business Analytics & Information Systems Computer Information Systems Statistics Data Science or another related quantitative field plus three years of experience in the following areas: 1 Working with TSQL; 2 Working with complex datasets reporting requirements and data visualization; 3 Using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to perform ETL processes against heterogenous data sources; 4 Working with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack technology (Power BI SSRS SSIS and/or SSAS); 5 Experience with data warehouse design and maintenance; and 6 Experience with claims data and processing. In lieu of a Masters Degree (or a foreign equivalent degree) in the fields of study listed above employer will also accept a Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Analytics Business Analytics & Information Systems Computer Information Systems Statistics Data Science or another related quantitative field plus five years of progressive postbachelors experience in the enumerated areas listed above. This position allows for a telecommuting benefit allowing employee to work from home but employee must live within commuting distance (approximately 37 miles) of the organizations headquarters as the position requires the employee to periodically report to the office (approximately once per quarter).
