As Sr. Manager of Design Engineering Quality your primary mission will be to influence Design and Test criteria focused on controls commissioning and installation to ensure and verify high quality predictable outcomes.
In your role you will be the key technical lead to influence global engineering quality for fast moving large complex material handling systems. You will lead a team who is responsible for identifying key technical aspects of system design and implementation that need to be inspected and verified to enable highly efficient and smooth site launches.
The Sr. Manager is expected to independently manage a team who is proficient in communicating effectively to a wide audience including other engineers external vendors customer organizations and business leaders. As a leader you will establish mechanisms to measure and improve Design Quality outputs and develop solutions that can be scaled across the network.
You will have a proven track record of delivering results through team development and datadriven decision making. The Sr. Manager will have a strong commitment to safety and a relentless focus on design quality and operational excellence. Your leadership will be instrumental in establishing design quality standards that drive predictable successful outcomes across our global operations.

Lead a specialized team developing technical testing methods for missioncritical features
Establish and oversee quality metrics and improvement initiatives that scale across our network
Drive engineering excellence for complete system implementations
Foster collaboration between engineers vendors customers and business stakeholders
Champion datadriven decision making and continuous improvement
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Computer Science Robotics or related technical field
15 years of experience in Material Handling project OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
5 years of experience managing technical teams
Experience leading fullstack automation projects (Hardware Controls Software) from concept through implementation
Experience developing technical requirements and project specifications
Experience must involve ownership/management of engineering design projects involving Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
Experience using business/technical software like MS Excel MS Project and CAD software
Experience in creating and implementing standards with respect to testing and commissioning large scale highly automated complex warehousing systems.
Masters Degree in Engineering Robotics or related technical field
Experience managing geographically distributed teams
Experience developing and executing multiyear technology roadmaps
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and build consensus across organizations
