Job Description:
- Manage Calendar and organize meetings of Chief of Flight Safety
- Act as the primary point of contact for external departments regarding administrative matters related to flight safety.
- Serve as the central administrative liaison for other support departments
- Manage incoming inquiries and correspondence ensuring timely responses or appropriate delegation.
- Oversee daily department operations including procurement of equipment and supplies and management of IT hardware and software issues.
- Develop and maintain office procedures documents and correspondence to ensure efficient operations.
- Assist monitor and track in making travel arrangements and track expenses of department personnel.
- Undertake special projects as assigned by the Chief of Flight Safety ensuring timely completion.
- Record detailed meeting minutes and facilitate communication among managers supervisors and senior staff as required.
- Prepare and update documents and records ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety protocols including through liaison.
- Manage projects & initiatives by coordination with various departments within the organization to ensure safety initiatives are implemented effectively.
- Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) training and development activities to promote safety culture and compliance.
- Organize and manage safety meetings and processes to enhance flight safety standards.
Desired Qualification/certifications:
- Bachelors degree
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Good Written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
