Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Research & Insights Analyst to join Nines Audience & Insights team!

In this role youll provide key audience insights and reporting to support Nines Digital and Publishing brands including SMH The Age AFR 9News and more. Your insights will help the sales team drive audience reach and revenue across a competitive digital and publishing marketplace.

Sitting within the broader Sales Research & Insights team youll collaborate across Total TV and Total Audio to deliver datadriven insights that influence strategic decisions and enhance sales performance.

As Research & Insights Analyst you will;

  • Respond to research requests from the sales team ensuring insights are clearly understood and can be effectively used to support compelling sales stories across Nines Digital and Publishing brands.

  • Analyse site traffic to identify patterns of audience behaviours and trends that can be leveraged to maximise advertising revenue.

  • Develop and maintain audience reports and dashboards to support business and sales needs.

  • Conduct internal ad effectiveness research for Nines clients including scripting surveys analysing results and creating impactful presentations.

  • Use industry research tools such as Ipsos Iris Digital Ratings Roy Morgan OzTAM and VOZ to provide accurate data and insights for sales proposals client briefs and strategic planning.

  • Develop training materials and guidelines to help the sales team understand the reach and performance of Nines Digital and Publishing assets including how they compare to key competitors.


Qualifications :

Qualifications:

A degree in Analytics Research Business Communications Marketing or a related field.

Skills and Experience:

  • A genuine passion for media particularly across digital publishing and TV brands

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract and communicate relevant actionable insights from data and research

  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across internal teams

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and meet tight deadlines
