Job Description
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking a Fullstack Developer supporting contact center tools and integrations in Plantation FL!This role is within the Unified Communications & Collaboration team and focuses on building webbased tools APIs and platform integrations that enhance Chewys contact center environment.
Were looking for an experienced fullstack developer whos comfortable working across frontend and backend code and who understands how to build scalable systems that integrate with internal and external APIs. Youll help us automate processes optimize agent workflows and modernize our developer experience with tools like CI/CD pipelines and infrastructureascode.
You dont need to be a contact center expert weve got that covered. If youre a solid developer who enjoys building tools that make teams more efficient youll fit right in.
What Youll Do:
- Build and maintain internal tools and UIs that improve agent productivity and customer experience
- Work on Genesys Cloud Functions (JavaScript) to enable advanced call routing logic and realtime features
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline development and platform automation using Terraform and scripting languages
- Contribute to the development of a TypeScriptbased internal app that integrates multiple contact center systems
- Build RESTful APIs and services that integrate with platforms like Genesys Cloud and Oracle Service Cloud.
- Participate in code reviews architecture discussions and planning
- Resolve issues across the stack and own solutions from ideation to deployment
What Youll Need:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field with equivalent experience
- 7 years of professional experience as afull stack developer
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with React or another modern frontend framework
- Backend experience with Python Java or similar serverside platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions Jenkins etc.
- Comfort with Docker and infrastructureascode tools (Terraform CloudFormation etc.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs integrations and asynchronous systems
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced collaborative multifunctional environment
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Experience with Genesys Cloud CX especially functions flows and APIs
- Familiarity with WebRTC SIP or VoIP systems
- Familiarity with contact center analytics and reporting solutions
- Exposure to enterprise tools like WFM call recording or CRMs
- Cloud platform experience (AWS preferred)
- SQL or NoSQL data modeling skills
- Understanding of observability practices (logs metrics tracing)
