About the role
We are looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager to help scale and improve our accounting operations. In this role youll be handson in managing key accounting processes supporting financial close and driving efficiency through automation and continuous improvement.
Youll own core accounting responsibilities ensure accurate and timely reporting and work crossfunctionally to simplify financial processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment enjoys problemsolving and loves finding smarter ways to work.
What youll do
- Take ownership of key accounting processes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and global standards.
- Strengthen internal controls and SOX compliance ensuring financial accuracy and integrity.
- Introduce automation AI and new technology to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Drive process improvements to make financial operations faster smoother and more scalable
- Partner with teams across Canva to simplify financial processes provide insights that drive better decisionmaking and elevate financial understanding across the company.
- Support audits and regulatory requirements working closely with external auditors and internal teams.
Qualifications :

- Experience in corporate accounting financial reporting and operational financeideally in a highgrowth or public company.
- Strong understanding of GAAP SOX compliance and internal controls.
- A problem solver who thrives in fastpaced environments and enjoys optimizing processes.
- Excellent communication skillsyou can simplify complex financial concepts for nonfinancial teams.
- A passion for automation technology and improving workflows.
- Experience working with ERP systems (bonus points for NetSuite!.

At Canva we value fairness and we strive to provide competitive marketinformed compensation whilst ensuring internal equity within the team in each region. We make hiring decisions based on your skills experience and our overall assessment of what we observed and learnt in the hiring process. The target salary range for this position is $134000 $172000. When calculating offers we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates skills and experience.
