Whats it all about

The Director EU VAS Acceptance Solutions will lead the VAS Acceptance Solutions and commercialisation team within the European region focusing on the Visa Acceptance Platform and direct connections. This is an exciting opportunity within Visas Value Added Services team focusing on creating or improving technical solutions that enhance security and customer experience throughout the Seller Journey such as:

  • Payer Interfaces (Inperson acceptance digital acceptance secure payment credentials acceptance devices)
  • Payment Processing (global gateway card processing settlement orchestration alternative payments)
  • Platforms (Visa Intelligent Authentication onboarding billing)

This leadership role sits at the intersection of product innovation product management sales client management and sales engineering. It provides an incredible opportunity to lead a team of highperforming solution managers while gaining organizational visibility and career growth. Every day we solve realworld challenges and utilize product innovation and commercial skills to design bestinclass scalable solutions for our European Acceptance clients (acquirers merchants ISVs).

The successful candidate must have strong product and commercial acumen datadriven strategic thinking great presentation and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to build fast rapport and credibility with stakeholders. The focus of the role is supporting the expansion of clientrelevant Payer Interface solutions in key EU markets with a product and commercial mindset short and longterm vision and backed by data.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in fastpaced environments with demanding timelines and will be equally comfortable interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders of various seniority level.

What we expect of you day to day.

  • Lead product strategies localising Visa Acceptance Platform for Europe to enable growth in priority and new markets gathering insights on regional competitive and regulatory intelligence activities to evaluate competitors activities and implications to inform regional solutions leads decisionmaking
  • Champion datadriven decisions for new product introductions and enhancements of existing products
  • Drive the delivery of new payment methods new solutions and product enhancements to generate revenue opportunities for acceptance solutions
  • Conduct market analysis and recommend strategies to leverage insights for product development
  • Identify design and submit business cases for new product opportunities
  • Develop Product Roadmaps to meet new market requirements and coordinate deployment plans with Global Product Management and Product Development
  • Advocate for designated products internally and externally maintaining constant communication with markets and clients
  • Drive Commercialisation and scaling of acceptance solutions portfolio
  • Manage the P&L of owned products utilizing strategic planning and analytics to grow the Acceptance Solutions business
  • Influence and track the adoption of key new strategic initiatives for Visa EU
  • Select and monitor performance metrics to assess product performance revenue scalability and longevity
  • Build and lead a highperforming team providing mentorship and development opportunities to team members while upskilling Visa acceptance teams and drive operation excellence
  • Develop sales strategies and collaborate with sales and business development teams to implement them
  • Develop value propositions for products or product suites and build effective offers for sales channels

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager. Employees are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week with a general guidepost of being in the office 50 or more of the time based on business needs


Qualifications :

  • Senior level work experience in payments or related technology/financial services field
  • Preferred: experience in payment processing gateways merchant acquiring outstanding ability to inspire and coach proven strategic and analytical mindset excellent communication skills ability to handle uncertainty keen interest in emerging payment trends and competitive landscape extensive experience in executing product adjustments and understanding of the European markets
  • Multilingual fluency English European language highly desirable
  • Travel: Approximately 1520 travel required
