In this role you will:
- Prepare and plate a la carte buffet and pastry items to a consistently high standard
- Ensure the kitchen remains spotless and compliant with all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Step up to supervise operations when senior chefs are off duty
- Work closely with Front Office and Food & Beverage teams to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Stay across current culinary trends and bring fresh ideas to menu planning
- Support and guide junior chefs helping to foster a positive team culture in the kitchen
Qualifications :
You will be:
- A passionate Demi Chef de Partie with at least 3 years of experience in a 45 star hotel kitchen or toptier restaurant
- Trained and qualified in culinary arts with solid knife skills and technical knowhow
- Someone who brings creativity to the plate with a strong eye for detail and presentation
- Confident running the kitchen solo on overnight shifts taking charge of both prep and service
- Able to follow precise prep instructions and maintain consistency in every dish
- Fully flexible to work a rotating roster including nights weekends and public holidays
