Job Description

MEP Designer (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing)

Location: Florida (Onsite)

Our client is seeking an experienced MEP Designer to join an onsite engineering team in Florida. This role focuses on the design and documentation of MEP systems for various types of commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers engineers and architects to deliver coordinated and codecompliant systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and draft MEP systems (HVAC Electrical Plumbing) for buildings including clubhouses hotels retail spaces offices and marinas.

  • Develop construction documents and technical specifications.

  • Provide support during construction including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.

  • Coordinate closely with structural civil and architectural teams.

  • Contribute to full project lifecycles under the guidance of senior staff and project managers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or related engineering field.

  • EI certification preferred.

  • 15 years of MEP design experience.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or REVIT.

  • Familiarity with MEP design tools and load calculation software.

  • Excellent organization and communication skills.

  • Detailoriented collaborative and committed to delivering quality solutions.
