Position Summary
We are looking for a strategic and creative Social Media Manager to lead and manage the online presence of a wellloved consumer brand across Southeast Asia. This contractbased remote role will require you to drive social media strategy create compelling content plans engage communities and deliver meaningful insights to enhance digital performance.
This role offers the unique opportunity to influence how families and individuals across the region experience and interact with our clients brand online while contributing to impactful campaigns rooted in everyday life.
Key Responsibilities
Social Strategy & Planning
- Lead the development and of a localized social media strategy across Southeast Asia.
- Align social activities with broader regional marketing and brand objectives.
- Maintain an editorial calendar with engaging marketrelevant content.
Content Creation & Management
- Develop highquality platformspecific content that resonates with diverse Southeast Asian audiences.
- Write clear creative copy in English (and collaborate on localization when needed).
- Collaborate with internal teams agencies and creators to deliver bestinclass assets.
Audience Engagement & Community Building
- Oversee daytoday community management responding to comments messages and trends with brandappropriate tone.
- Cultivate strong digital communities that reflect the values and personality of the brand.
Insights & Optimization
- Monitor social media performance using data analytics tools.
- Generate regular reports with actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Continuously refine tactics based on engagement data and audience behavior.
Partnerships & Activation
- Identify and recommend relevant content creators influencers and partners for collaborative efforts.
- Support the of digital campaigns contests and communitydriven initiatives.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in social media management preferably within consumer goods lifestyle or digitalfirst industries in an agency or freelance set up.
- Proven ability to develop and implement social media strategies that drive results.
- Strong command of written and verbal English
- Excellent copywriting creative ideation and content planning skills.
- Proficiency in social media tools
- Highly organized selfmotivated and able to manage projects independently in a remote environment.
