- Job Title: Mechanical Assembly/Disassembly Technician
Reports To: Facility Supervisor
Classification: FullTime 40 hours per week)
Compensation: $1416 per hour
Location: OnSite Houston TX

- Job Summary
The Compressor Technician is responsible for disassembling old compressors sorting their subcomponents for reuse or recycling and supporting the reassembly and testing of remanufactured compressors. This role requires mechanical aptitude attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job
- 12 years previous experience in mechanical assembly industrial maintenance or similar fields.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools (e.g. wrenches ratchets air guns).
- Ability to use tools to disassemble and reassemble compressors and subcomponents.
- Strong problemsolving skills and willingness to learn.
- Valid Drivers License/Identification
- 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to communicate in English
- High school diploma / GED
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection gloves steeltoed boots hard hat and flame ant work clothes etc.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat dust noise vibration humidity).

- 12 years of experience operating a sitdown propane forklift.
- What you do on Job
- Disassemble old compressors and sort components for remanufacturing or recycling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment ensuring tools and materials are ready for operations.
- Assemble compressor subcomponents according to build specifications.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure parts and assemblies meet company standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist other processes as directed by the supervisor.
