Working from our Melbourne Office in the World Trade Centre located on Wurundjeri land or from our Sydney HQ at Sydney Olympic Park located on Wanngal land your role will focus on managing bid and project teams ensuring products and services are delivered as customercentric solutions for our premier systems products and services across the defence security and civil markets in Australia.
Your responsibilities
Lead crossfunctional teams to deliver largecomplex tenders while fostering collaboration communication and ensuring bid milestones are efficiently met
Develop and deliver comprehensive bid & project plans and ensure successful project while adhering to budget and quality standards
Provide clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization managing project scope schedules and risks
Proactively engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations maintaining regular communication to provide updates and address any concerns throughout the project lifecycle
Oversee bid & project budgets ensuring resource allocation and expenditure align with financial plans
Monitor and report on financial performance to ensure bids & projects are delivered within budget constraints
Establish and uphold quality control processes and monitor project performance identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary
Your Experience
On day one in this role well expect you to bring the following skills experience and behaviours:
Solid experience in bid/project management or a related field with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex and largescale bids/projects within budget and on schedule
Project Management Professional (PMP) & Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) certification or equivalent recognized qualification is highly desirable
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate crossfunctional teams while effectively managing diverse stakeholder relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to convey complex information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders at all levels
Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g. MS Project Primavera Jira Trello)
Bachelors degree in Engineering Project Management Business or a related field (preferred)
Must have a valid Drivers license
Availability to travel
Must be eligible to obtain Australian Defence Clearances
