Job Description
Were partnering with a civil construction company and conducting a search for a Construction Estimator. If you have experience estimating civil projects and are looking to join a respected contractor with diverse and exciting work this could be a great opportunity.
Title: Estimator
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for a range of civil projects including water systems utilities bridges highways and structural concrete
- Review plans specifications and contract documents to develop accurate scopes of work
- Mentor Project Engineers involved in the estimating process
- Collaborate with Project Managers to transition awarded projects into construction phase
- Track submitted bids and refine estimating strategies based on outcomes
Qualifications:

Prior estimating experience in civil construction
- Strong understanding of contract language bid preparation and project takeoffs
- Ability to mentor and develop junior engineering staff
- Excellent attention to detail organization and communication skills
