Position: Urgent Care Physician

Position Overview:
As an Urgent Care Physician you will provide highquality medical care to patients in an urgent care setting. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute illnesses and injuriesand providing patients preventive care and health education. This is a fulltime permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries in an urgent care setting
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as Xrays and lab work
Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
Provide preventive care and health education to patients
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in medical records
Adhere to all healthcare laws regulations and standards
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification in Family Medicine Emergency Medicine or another relevant specialty
Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Louisiana
Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care or a related setting
Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle a high volume of patients
Commitment to providing highquality patientcentered care
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
