Schedule: Three 3 shifts per calendar month Regularly covering weekend shifts is expected Two 2 holidays per year.

What Youll Do in This Role:
The Occupational Therapist plans organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs to facilitate development and rehabilitation of mentally physically or emotionally disabled persons.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients physical and mental abilities analyzing medical data to set realistic rehabilitation goals.
- Track and document patients progress preparing detailed reports on improvements or areas requiring additional support.
- Plan organize and implement occupational therapy programs tailored to individual patient needs.
- Select and design activities to help patients develop work and lifemanagement skills considering their physical and mental capabilities.
- Recommend environmental adjustments in patients work or living spaces to improve independence and quality of life.
- Develop and facilitate social programs to help patients learn or regain skills necessary for work school or daily living.
- Prepare and organize therapeutic materials (e.g. puzzles scissors eating utensils) for use during therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies.
- Lead training sessions to educate patients and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and objectives.
What Youll Need:
- Graduate of an accredited Therapy program.
- 3 5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current Occupational Therapy state license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance.
