The newly formed Amazon Business Sales Compensation (ABSC) team is seeking an experienced Sales Compensation Operations leader to build and lead our Operations and Customer service functions. In this role you will own the development and administration of tools and processes for the daytoday administration of sales compensation plans and payout calculations along with providing barraising customer service to ABs global salesforce. Your primary objective will be to build a program that delivers accurate and ontime payments and scales globally. This role requires working with global business owners in HR Legal Sales Finance Sales Operations and other members of the Sales Compensation leadership team to ensure that payments adhere to plan design policy and legal requirements. Crossteam coordination time management and excellent communication skills are essential.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record for rolling up their sleeves maintaining a high level of ownership and accountability and delivering bestinclass support to internal and external customers. While this role is currently scoped as an individual contributor it is expected to offer the opportunity for people management as the team grows.
Key job responsibilities
Own global sales compensation payout processing as well as issuance and updates to annual plan documents.
Collaborate with Amazon Business finance and payroll to provide accurate and timely payments to Amazon Business salespeople.
Resolve commissions questions/disputes from Amazon Business salespeople and the leadership team in a timely and accurate manner.
Function as subject matter expert on all sales compensation plans data systems and processes.
Collaborate with internal and external teams within Amazon Business.
Help hire train and mentor a team of sales compensation analysts.

Bachelors degree or equivalent
Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM variable compensation revenue reporting forecasting Salesforce automation etc.
Experience defining refining and implementing sales processes procedures and policies or equivalent
Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
Experience presenting to senior leadership
Experience working within a highgrowth technology company
Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
