EXPERIENCED VETERINARY SURGEON POSITION MACKAY
Mackay Veterinary Clinic is looking for a vibrant new member to join our friendly team in Mackay North Queensland. Our team consists of several very experienced vets and a large team of highly qualified and very dedicated nurses.
We at Mackay Veterinary Clinic pride ourselves on our friendly helpful customer service and quality care and advice. The successful applicant will require a friendly positive attitude be willing to work as part of a team with a great culture and possess good communication skills.
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. The full time position is based on a 38 hour week with an above award salary and the possibility of becoming a Clinical Leader. Our opening hours are 8am6pm Monday to Friday and 8am11am Saturday. We dont open on Sundays or Public Holidays at this stage and there is minimal After Hours/On Call.
We experience a wide and varied case load of all things small animals including exotics. We are equipped with all the usual toys including digital xray and digital dental xray ultrasound in house laboratory and orthopaedic equipment. We have regular visiting specialists throughout the year allowing exposure to areas of advanced vet practice including orthopaedics ophthalmology and dermatology. There is plenty of opportunity to pursue areas of special interest.
Situated in the middle of the Queensland coast Mackay boasts golden sandy beaches (many are dog friendly) and lush subtropical rainforest. It is only a short drive to Airlie Beach which is the gateway to the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef makingit a wonderful place to pursue outdoor interests or just relax on the beach and the excellent hours we are offering leave you ample time to enjoy our beautiful environment.
