Epic Application Architect
Fully REMOTE Consultant Must be Local to California State
Responsibilities:
Design and maintain enterpriselevel architecture for Epic applications.
Translate business needs into scalable Epic solutions.
Lead system integration and interoperability with Epic and thirdparty systems.
Oversee Epic upgrades enhancements and optimization efforts.
Mentor Epic analysts and ensure adherence to best practices.
Ensure compliance with security regulatory and performance standards.
Document system architecture data flows and technical designs.
Collaborate across clinical operational and IT teams to align Epic solutions with organizational goals.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field (Masters preferred).
Certifications: Epic certification(s) in relevant module(s) required; architecture certifications (e.g. TOGAF) a plus.
Experience:
7 years in Epic systems including 3 in an architect or lead role.
Strong knowledge of Epic architecture workflows and integrations (HL7 FHIR APIs).
Proven experience with Epic implementations or optimization projects.
